My thoughts on building Week 3.
I typically select dual threat QBs with the thought that their legs will carry the floor, leaving a good chance they can hit their ceiling score. Mariota has been successful using his legs, playing the Raiders and at 4k, he was a lock for me.
I didn't want to play both value RBs this week. I was torn between Mason and Walker. I didn't have faith in Carson Wentz and I knew the Seahawks would hammer the Saints, leaving Walker for a great game script.
The Colts are on fire, Taylor is a beast. Playing the Titans, I anticipated the game getting tilted, leaving Taylor in a monster spot. Also was a lock for me.
At WR, the Chargers have the highest PROE in the league. Allen was only 4700 in a game the Chargers would be forced to throw.
I was torn on a 2v2. With no help from my co-founders, I decided on Lamb and Ferguson (21.2 total DK points). I try not to stack in cash, but this game against the Bears seemed too good to pass up. The other 2v2 was Puka and Warren (32.6 total DK points). Puka is a target beast, I clearly made the wrong decision but the choice was made.
Overall, there was so much money to go around, it was tough to make choices. I focused on game environments vs position to make a lot of my decisions. I was happy with my cash in week 3.

My thoughts on building Week 3.
I went with a Stafford double, Barkley bring back. This was a good game to target for GPPs. Ownership was lower than other environments and the past matchups have provided a lot of fantasy points. I was looking at taking the other side of this game in Hurts-Brown-Smith with a Puka bringback, but Barkley has destroyed the Rams in the past.
I filled in the rest of my roster with players that were in great spots to go off. Odunze and Allen were in great spots. Warren is on a team that throws to TEs and is on a winning streak.
Carson Wentz is mistake prone, the Bengals D fit. Who knew Browning would be so bad.
You needed the Vikings D (30 DK points) to hit a tournament this week, which I didn't have.
In hindsight, my team did not perform to expectations. I am not sure I would have changed anything, in GPPs you need to take chances. I liked the build, but I probably should have played both sides in this one.
