Week 10 was extremely difficult - trying to navigate the expensive options at WR and no great value at RB other than the top tier. Everyone was expensive, making it hard to play all the best plays. I survived with a massive game from Jahmyr Gibbs, absorbing terrible games from Lamar Jackson, James Cook, and Chris Moore.

At QB, I considered Jaxson Dart, Drake Maye and Lamar Jackson. I liked Dart's setup and game script, but was concerned about the weather there. Maye was also in a great game environment with an expected back and forth game. I ultimately settled in Jackson, thinking he would be able able to navigate the Vikings blitz packages and he has been pretty explosive this year - getting him sub-7k seemed like an easy click.

At RB, my pool had Jahmyr Gibbs, James Cook, De'Von Achane, and Rico Dowdle. Dowdle was an easy lock based on workload and a great matchup with the Saints. I wanted either Gibbs or Amon-Ra St. Brown for Lions exposure, and though Gibbs would get a heavy workload as a big favorite. I went back and forth with James Cook and Achane, and ultimately settled on Cook. The Dolphins have been terrible this year, and even with Achane's heavy usage, it hasn't been efficient.

For WR, I considered Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Amon-Ra St. Brown as top tier, and wanted one of them. By taking Gibby in the RB slot, it made it easy to go with JSN and his elite target share. I also wanted Mack Hollins as a lock after Keyshawn Boutte was ruled out. Hollins fit well into the Pats offensive scheme and Bucs weaknesses, and was only $3500 so saved me a ton of salary for all the other expensive options. I needed another absolute punt, and went with Chris Moore. His snap share last week was big, but target share was next to zero. I figured it worth the risk knowing he'd be on the field a lot and likely playing from behind.

At TE, I only considered Schultz - he was in a smash spot against the Jags who bleed points to TEs.

At DST, I wanted the Browns but didn't have the salary, so went with the Jags, who were our top value DST this week anyway.

Overall, I survived only due to a huge game from Gibbs. My biggest miss is taking James Cook over De'Von Achane - it cost me 33 PPR points - but was happy with identifying Hollins as a good punt this week.
