Power plays - week 6

ree

Week 6 sets up like a choose-your-adventure slate: condensed alpha usage in a few smash environments, quarterback uncertainty creating leverage pockets, and multiple secondaries in flux that can’t hide from premium route runners.  The headline angles are simple — ride elite efficiency where it exists, embrace optional bring-backs in volatile spots, and press edges where injuries and defensive communication breakdowns are handing us explosive-play probabilities.  Expect Rams’ passing game to be a Ferrari, New England–New Orleans to funnel through a few featured weapons, Seattle–Jacksonville to pivot on perimeter matchups, and Dallas stacks to keep paying off against a defense surrendering video-game efficiency.

Rams @ Ravens

Stafford → Puka + Adams

This is the premium double for ceiling — the defense across from them is leaking explosive plays and points, and Stafford’s recent form supports pairing Nacua’s relentless volume with Adams’ downfield air yards to capture all the touchdowns.  A bring-back isn’t required; in larger fields, Flowers is the spike-week dart if that side can keep pace despite QB uncertainty.

    •    Prioritize: Stafford + Nacua + Adams; optional Flowers in MME.

    •    Leverage: Kyren Williams as RB-over-double to flip red-zone sequencing.

Patriots @ Saints

Maye → Diggs with Olave

Lean into Maye’s mobility versus a defense allowing a top-five passer rating; Diggs has stacked back-to-back 100-yard games on elite target rate even with modest snaps, making a clean single.  Olave is the stable return thanks to double-digit target potential, which props the correlation even if efficiency stalls.

    •    Prioritize: Maye + Diggs, bring-back Olave.

    •    Add-on: Hunter Henry in 3-stacks for end-zone leverage against a TE-friendly matchup.

Seahawks @ Jags

Darnold → JSN with Hunter or BTJ

Seattle’s pass game leads in yards per attempt with JSN functioning as a true WR1 over his last 17; Jacksonville’s secondary turnover post–Tyson Campbell trade opens matchup levers for slot and boundary alignments.  Run it back with Brian Thomas Jr. for the ascending downfield role, or Travis Hunter as the cheaper volatility if it turns track meet.

    •    Prioritize: Darnold + JSN; bring-back BTJ first, Hunter for salary relief.

    •    Pivot: A.J. Barner as a touchdown punt in three-stacks.

Lawrence → BTJ with JSN

If that secondary remains compromised after getting diced last week, Lawrence-to-BTJ captures the vertical spike while JSN is the most dependable return from Seattle.

    •    Prioritize: Lawrence + BTJ; bring-back JSN.

    •    Add-on: Etienne for onslaughts to capture RB receptions versus a defense allowing heavy RB catches.

Cowboys @ Panthers

Dak → Ferguson with Tet

Volume is elite, the opposing pass defense is highly beatable, and Ferguson’s usage makes the tight end stack the cleanest and a natural leverage path off chalky WR constructions.  Tetairoa McMillan is the preferred run-back with promising efficiency and the best shot at a ceiling game if the script tilts pass-heavy.

    •    Prioritize: Dak + Ferguson; bring-back Tet.

    •    Leverage: Javonte Williams when betting on control and rushing touchdowns
